RICARDO WANTS TO BE NUMBER ONE

"It's a good thing when you realise that no squad member is
untouchable, but it makes me feel that I need to be even
more on my toes so that I am ready when I am chosen again in
the future. I still think Fabien is a good keeper and he has
had a very good season but any player in any position goes
through a bad spell at any stage and that happens in
football.

"Nothing has happened this season to make me change my mind
about Fabien who I feel is a great goalkeeper who has
enjoyed a great career at Manchester United and elsewhere.
People come, people go, so I just concentrate on my own
game. I am very determined to eventually become Manchester
United's goalkeeper. You have to believe in that, keep your
belief and your self confidence and that is what I am
doing."
