Charles Sale in the Mail has reported that out of the 25 voluntary redundancies united announced would happen there were 14 applicants. However only two of them were accepted and over twenty workers mostly the catering staff were given compulsory notice of their departures. United are allegedly helping the workers made redundant secure new jobs.
