"All the fuss over the goal will not bother me one bit when I'm on the pitch at Old Trafford. The last time I scored a goal like that nobody thought about walking off the pitch. I was amazed by what was going on around us. I have done that before.

"Things happened to the fans behind the goal during the first half in France but I hope that there is no bad feeling for the return match at Old Trafford. I hope that it all stays normal.

"There probably aren't going to be that many more Champions League games for me. So the incentive is massive, for the team and for me.

"I don't think all the pressure is on Lille. We are the favourites to qualify so all the pressure is on us. Everyone thinks that we can do it, so that increases the expectation."

"We need a cool approach to this game, we must make them feel our Theatre of Dreams can be a nightmare for them.

"We want the fans to get behind the team while the players must pressure them all around the pitch. If we let them play, and there is no doubt they can play, then they can hurt us."
