SAF:
"I am happy with the result but disappointed that we didn't score more goals.
"We had some great opportunities, although their goalkeeper made two or three magnificent saves and we also had one shot blocked on the line.
"They had a real go at us but we played some excellent football at times and both Phil Neville and Quinton Fortune did really well.
"I suppose one way we have gained on Arsenal is by scoring the extra goal, which edges us a little bit closer but it looks like it is turning into a really close one and probably won't be settled until the final day."
Souness:
"If it had happened at the other end, we would have been playing with 10 men.
"It's a monster decision. The referee said he was going away from goal but I didn't see it like that. It changed the game dramatically because not only would they have been playing a man down, they would also have had to use one of their outfield players in goal.
"There is no way Brad Friedel would have stayed on the pitch if he had done it. But it's nothing new - at big clubs you don't always get what you should from referees."
And Souness on our Euro chances:
"You would be crazy to say Manchester United can't beat any team by two goals.
"Real Madrid looked very ordinary when they lost to Real Sociedad last weekend. It made them appear vulnerable and United can get at most teams in that situation."
Wenger:
"My players have such a desire to do well. It was a great response from my team, a great message to our fans and to everybody that we will be there.
"After Wednesday I felt Manchester United had an advantage but we`ve levelled that.
"Now it`s all down to the team who doesn't slip up."
