An April Fool's Day joke involving David Beckham has
reportedly upset millions of Japanese girls.
One of Tokyo's leading newspapers printed a story claiming
Becks was planning to transfer to Japan, as a good-natured
gag.
But it has since been bombarded with complaints from
disappointed schoolgirls who were taken in by the joke.
The England captain has been heralded as the country's
favourite sex symbol.
