"I never want to leave this club and there is only one man who could make me leave, and that is Sir Alex Ferguson.
"And when he tells me it is time to move on, I will shake his hand and go without any animosity.
"People forget he has been like a second father to me; it is a relationship that goes beyond that of the normal player and manager.
"I can't worry about the situation. If you had asked me at the end of last season if I was happy with the amount of football I was playing, I would have said `No' and in the summer I did think a lot about the situation.
"People say I must have been disappointed not to be in the cup final squad, and it was the biggest low since being at this club.
"But I looked at the bench and saw Ryan Giggs and my brother Gary and thought what it must have been like for those two, who have been here longer.
"The manager does what is best for Manchester United and I am a fan at the end of the day. As long as we win, I am not bothered."
