Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has revealed he would be open to joining Paris Saint-Germain at some point in the future, admitting he would like to play alongside his international teammates at club level.
Pogba's contract expires in just three months, but despite his time at Old Trafford dwindling, 90min understands the midfielder is still considering all the options available to him before deciding his next move.
The 29-year-old could yet stay at Man Utd once it becomes clear who the next manager will be, but alongside Real Madrid and former club Juventus, PSG is a potential destination back in his hometown.
Asked about the possibility of joining the Ligue 1 giants while on international duty with France, Pogba admitted he would be open to that possibility.
"Why not?" he told Le Figaro. "It's always nice to play with your team-mates in the national team and club."
In further quotes to the Parisian tabloid earlier this week, Pogba gave the clearest indication yet that he is unhappy at United and could seek pastures new when his current terms expire in June.
“[Didier Deschamps] gave me a role that I know [for France], but, at Manchester United, do I really have a role? I ask the question and I don't have the answer,” he said.
"I have much more playing time [with France], the system is different than at club level. In fact, it’s simple, with Les Bleus, I play, and moreover, in my position. I know my role, I feel the confidence of the coach and the players."
Regarding the club's lack of trophies, he added: "I have to be honest, I’m not happy with that - over the last five seasons, but really not at all. This year it’s dead, we won’t win anything again.
"Whether it’s with Manchester or another club, I want to win trophies.”
