Manchester United fans' nightmare may just have become a reality, with both Paul Pogba and Bruno Fernandes left hurt following a collision on the training ground.
The pairing have been the subject of much excitement ever since Fernandes' arrival in January, and things did look to be working out well in 3-0 victories over both Sheffield United and Brighton.

Nothing in life's easy though, and The Mirror report that both Pogba and Fernandes limped away after the Frenchman bundled into his teammate during a training session – and both required treatment, with Fernandes coming off worst.
United refused to comment on the situation and there is no indication of just how serious each player's injury is, but with Bournemouth set to visit Old Trafford on Saturday afternoon, that's hardly ideal – and we're not likely to hear more about their respective statuses before the teams are announced.
Club doctors will be fretting about Pogba, who has missed pretty much the entire season with ankle issues. He has managed just 12 appearances in all competitions this season and could have to wait for number 13.
The Frenchman changed the game when he made his comeback as a second-half substitute against Tottenham Hotspur, bagging a crucial assist and sparking delirium among fans for his partnership with Fernandes.
Pogba has managed two assists since football's restart, and Fernandes has chimed in with an impressive three goals, so it's not hard to imagine why Ole Gunnar Solskjaer would be concerned to see both pull up injured.
The games are coming thick and fast for United, who will travel to Aston Villa on Thursday before hosting Southampton the following Monday.
An impressive run of form, coupled with disappointing performances from both Leicester City and Chelsea, has seen United move just two points behind in the race for a top-four finish, so Solskjaer will be desperate to see both players make swift recoveries.
