"I understand the pressure of coming to Manchester United and the expectations of the fans over here.
"I also know that many Koreans see Manchester United as the best in the world and there will be a lot of focus on me. But I can handle that.
"I think I will be OK. I have no worries about it. I can overcome all that pressure and believe I will be able to perform as I expect.
"Going from Asia to Europe was initially difficult.
"But I have had that experience now and that will help me coming to Manchester. I think I will be able to adapt very quickly.
"The manager bought me on the evidence of what he saw at PSV. He knows my style and obviously believes I will fit into United's game and also the Premiership.
"The Far East tour is going to be important and I think I will get to the level of performance I will need to make an impact."
