The club's plans for a parade after their Champions League success in Moscow had to be scrapped following trouble in Manchester after the Uefa Cup Final.
However, United chief executive David Gills has revealed that the club are in discussions for a parade to be held sometime this summer.
"We were planning a parade which clearly takes a lot of organisation," Gill told MUTV.
"But as a result of the issues last week after the UEFA Cup final in Manchester we announced that there wouldn't be one on Thursday when we got back.
"We'll be discussing this with Manchester City Council, Trafford Council and the police to see what can be done later in the summer."
