Everybody seems to want to talk about Fabien Barthez, and thanks to soccernet Red Issue has managed to compile a list of what they had to say. First up is Arsenal's Thierry Henry

"It's a bit weird because for me he is not having a bad moment," the Arsenal striker said.

"So many times after Manchester United games they could have lost some points. But he was outstanding on his line and in the box. We all know here (in France) what a great goalkeeper he is."

Shay Given said recently: "I think he's been playing well this season. He's made some very important saves at important times in games, and he's been doing well for them.

"He's a World Cup winner and a European Cup winner. You just put that on the table and he can't be a bad goalkeeper with all those on his CV."

Former United player Andy Goram:

"I love watching him. I think he is a character and the fans love him."

Goram on alleged United target Antti Niemi:

"I would like Antti to go there, if anybody, for sentimental reasons, "

"I don't think he would be fazed going to Old Trafford. He has got the attitude and certainly has the ability."
