OT RETURN FOR BECKHAM

David Beckham has vowed he will be at Old Trafford on Tuesday to say farewell to Manchester United.

Becks was looking forward to playing for a Select XI against United. That dream was shattered at the weekend when he suffered a knee ligament injury while playing for Real Madrid.

But the former England skipper spoke to United, asking if he can still come — and they were delighted to agree.

Now Beckham will be announced on to the pitch before the game in a special ceremony — so he can acknowledge the club and their army of fans.
