O'SHEA NEARLY WENT TO CELTIC

John O’Shea did talk to Celtic about signing but was ‘swung’
by United at the last minute:

“We got to the stage where we were talking about signing the
contract when United came in and the chance to play in the
Premiership swung it. United showed how much they wanted me
and they have really looked after me in my time here. I've
never felt like I was being rushed at any point.”
