O'SHEA – CONFIDENCE IS HIGH

John O’Shea on MUTV:

"It was great to get a win under our belts. Confidence has
been low and we needed a win like that to give ourselves a
boost, particularly with the games with Arsenal coming up.

"In the run-up to Christmas we had the best defensive record
around, but we've been very disppointing over the last few
weeks and have conceded a lot of goals through bad
defending.

"Northampton was the last game in which we kept a clean
sheet before the Spurs match and hopefully they'll be a lot
more between now and the end of the season.

"We've had some changes to cope with this season in terms of
players being out injured or suspended, but we've got a
talented squad and at a club like Manchester United you have
to cope with those changes.

"Unfortunately we haven't coped with things as well as we
have done in the past, but we've got to get on it with now.
We've got a chance to get through in the FA Cup and we're
still not giving up in the league.

"We know it's going to take a hell of a run of results for
us to turn it around, but we've still got to give it a go.”
