International soccer celebrity David Beckham's tour to Asia will include stops in Malaysia, Vietnam and Thailand.

The England captain and Manchester United midfielder is expected to arrive in Kuala Lumpur on June 24 before flying in a private jet to Ho Chi Minh City and then Bangkok, said Juraikarn Trakulvech, communications manager at Ogilvy PR Worldwide.

Beckham, who is immensely popular among sports fans throughout Asia, is scheduled to meet with the winners of a lucky draw contest sponsored by Castrol Oil in each city and is considering plans to hold soccer clinics, Juaikarn said.

Juraikarn was unable to confirm local reports saying that Beckham also plans to visit Japan.
