Ole Gunnar Solskjaer could be facing up to three more months on the sidelines
after being told he'll need more treatment on his knee. Speaking before a training session at the NovaCare Complex, manager Sir Alex Ferguson revealed the extent of Solskjaer's injury.
OLE OUT
'When Ole went to get treatment at the end of the season he saw a Swedish
specialist, who is reputedly the best in the world, '
'There was a proviso from the specialist there would possibly be a second step.
'That's the second step we are taking now. It is not a shock, only a
disappointment.
'There were no guarantees (after the operation). It was a trial and hopefully there would be success.
'But we feel now that it has not been 100% successful and that he should take
the second phase and go back and see him again.
'It may mean he will be out for five-six weeks. But if it is worse than maybe two or three months.
'Certainly we are in control of the situation. I think we know where we are going with it.'
