Serie A sides have struggled in Europe over the last few years but Ole thinks that the worst is now behind them.
"After a difficult couple of years, I can see an improvement in the Italian teams," he said.
"The last two years Italian clubs have struggled in Europe but this season they seem to have really hit the right note. Both the Milan teams, plus Juve and Roma, have shown what they are capable of. There has been a change in Italian football this season and their teams are all capable of going all the way to the final - as we are."
