'I am going to see the surgeon again in February,' Ole said. 'They always want to monitor your situation. They have the most experience of these type of injuries. I am just waiting for them to say `you can start running now'. I have been training a little bit harder recently but I am still not running. I am just doing everything that the medical staff tell me to do because I don't want to rush things. I am relying on the experience of the surgeons.'
Solskjaer has not played since his brief substitute appearance in the FA Cup final last May.
'It's frustrating because I want to play football and I am losing the best years of my career but nothing good comes from having a negative attitude. The surgeon told me the rest of the knee is perfect which gives me hope to carry on. There have been quite a few injuries like this worldwide, but not at this club. I am doing work on the bike and also walking and swimming. All I can do at the moment is set myself a daily target and try to achieve it.'
