FC Porto have officially fired recently-appointed manager Luigi Del Neri.
Del Neri missed a flight on Thursday evening and was unable to be at the club’s training session.
This did not sit well with club president Pinto Da Costa who decided to terminate Del Neri’s contract and will now begin looking for a new manager for the European Champions.
Del Neri was chosen as Jose Mourinho’s successor at the club, but in the end, he did not even get to manage a single official match.
