Zidane, 30, has stoked the fires by insisting that Madrid are still a bigger club:
"The big difference between the two teams is the history.Real Madrid have nine European Cups and Manchester have just two. That is important. We have to show the world why we have them - because we're the best team and we play the best football."
And Zidane reckons that if Real can stop Ruud van Nistelrooy they will be halfway to achieving their aim.
He said:
"The Manchester player we most fear is without doubt Van Nistelrooy. He is a sensational player, strong and with a great flair for the goal.Ryan Giggs is experienced and a great player and I also like David Beckham and Fabien Barthez because they are important in that team."
