NICKY DOESN'T GET DOWN

"I would be lying if I said I hadn't been gutted about not
playing sometimes and wondered what was going to happen. In
some ways, it is better that I come from Manchester because
my friends and family are on the doorstep and I can speak to
them when I get upset.

"The manager has never told me about anyone coming in, so I
wouldn't know if anyone has but I have always been happy
here, even though I have been in this situation quite often
while I am been at United.

"I am experienced enough to know that over the course of
every season players get injured or suspended.

"I will bide my time, work hard in training and try to make
sure that when I do get an opportunity I take it. If I
don't, I will look at myself in the mirror and know it is my
fault.''
