On claims United ran out of steam on Sunday, from the Sun:
NEVILLE WANTS CLEAN SHEETS
“After the game we got ‘You're conceding goals late, you are running out of gas.' For 83 minutes I thought it was going to be our best defensive display of the season. We normally don't let it slip when we've taken the lead.
“After a game like Sunday, you come off and you are all gutted and think about it for days after. But something we have to look at is that we are not getting enough clean sheets.
“We haven't kept a clean sheet since December 23 at Aston Villa and that's something we have to address and put right.
“In 1999 we suffered for three or four years before going on to win the Treble. Hopefully, the past two or three years of not winning the league is enough for us to make us realise that it's our time to win it.
“Because we have not won the title for three years the fever has come back that we need to win it. On Sunday there was talk of going nine points clear and everyone wanted that so badly. But it's rarely like that, there are always twists and turns.
“Tottenham's a big game. If we have a six- point lead when there are only a few games left that will be a strong position.”
