McClaren tells the M.E.N. that England are better prepared for this tournament than the last World Cup because Gary Neville is in the squad.
"We are better-equipped and there are many reasons why, but one of them is Gary Neville. We missed him in Japan.
"He is not only a great player on the field, he also provides great leadership out there. He is a great communicator, and off the field he is very influential around the team. "His experience of playing at the top level is invaluable to this kind of situation in a tournament.
"He is certainly capable of going on to win 100 caps for England. He is still young enough, and still fit enough."
