MOURINHO LOSES APPEAL

Jose Mourinho's appeal against a charge of improper conduct was dismissed by the FA yesterday. This means he will have to pay a £5,000 for the comments he made after the first leg of the carling Cup semi final against United at Stamford Bridge.

Mourinho was charged with improper conduct after saying:

'In the second half it was whistle and whistle, fault and fault, cheat and cheat,'
