Mino Raiola appears to have been busy in recent days following meetings with both Juventus and Barcelona to discuss the respective futures of several of his clients.
Raiola is set to play a significant role in the transfer market over the next few months as some of the high profile players he represents could be on the move.
Gazzetta dello Sport has published a picture of the agent at a Turin restaurant with Juventus vice-chairman Pavel Nedved. Matthijs de Ligt, Luca Pellegrini and Moise Kean, the latter on loan from Everton until the end of the season, are all on Raiola’s books.
It is suggested that De Ligt is ‘at risk’ of being sold if Juve fail to qualify for the Champions League – a poor start to the season means they are currently eight points adrift of the top four.
Juve have also been heavily linked with one of Raiola’s other clients, Paul Pogba.
The Frenchman is on course to be out of contract at Manchester United at the end of the season but has been keeping his options open, which also doesn’t exclude signing a new contract at Old Trafford. As of last month, Pogba had not decided anything and interested clubs were still in the dark as to what his intentions are.
However, Turin doesn’t appear to be the only destination for Raiola. Despite financial restraints, Barcelona are reported to be keen on Erling Haaland. Football Twitch star Gerard Romero has claimed that Barça view the striker as a crucial part of their rebuild and wanted their own face-to-face meeting with Raiola to try and negotiate a more affordable deal.
It's claimed that Barcelona asked Raiola whether he could lower his commission fees, and they are believed to have been pretty satisfied with the agent's response.
