MICHAEL STEWART SENT HOME
Michael Stewart, is reportedly at the centre of a row between Alex Ferguson and Nottingham Forest manager Joe Kinnear.
From The Sun:
'Kinnear has cut short Stewart’s 12-month loan at the City Ground after the 21-year-old failed to impress. Kinnear has not once selected the midfielder since taking over from Paul Hart three months ago — and has not even bothered to pick him for the reserves.
Stewart has been a massive disappointment during Forest’s battle for First Division safety this season, starting just 15 games. Earlier in the campaign, Ferguson threatened to take him back to Old Trafford because of his lack of chances at Forest. But now Kinnear has acted to cancel his contract and save Forest the £5,000-a-week they were paying towards his United salary.'
