Ferguson:
Talks here about the teams left in the competition:
"There is a muchness about all the teams involved.
"Last season there was a spell when no-one wanted to get Barcelona. I don't think anyone is saying that this season.
"The key thing is we are still in the competition.
"We have had a couple of bad years in terms of qualifying for the quarter-finals. But the quarter-finals are not our aim. We want to go as far as we possibly can.
"There is not a lot between any of the sides left in, so I feel we have a chance against anyone."
About injuries:
"In the space of a week we have lost five or six players so it's been a bad week for us, apart from results. They have been good and that creates a great purpose for ourselves
"The defensive part, particularly, has been an important factor for us in terms of the results we've had recently. Now, in the remainder of the games, we have the squad, the quality and the purpose to go all the way.
"It is not looking good for Mikael at all. At first we thought he had broken his arm but now it seems it is a dislocation.
"It is another big blow for us because in the space of a week, we have lost five players.
"Louis will be missing for four weeks, although with hamstrings you can never be sure exactly how long they will be out. Ole will not be available until March 31, Darren Fletcher is out for two months and now Henrik is leaving us. It has been a bad week, apart from the results."
On Larsson:
"We were hoping he'd score because he has been an absolute pleasure to work with.
"He has made an impact on the club and it is terrific to see someone at 35 still wanting to learn."
"He has been a credit to himself. His dedication to his job has never changed and it has been a real joy to have him.
"I have spoken to the lad and he is going back. That, unfortunately, is that.
"We would love him to stay but obviously he has made his promise to his family and Helsingborg and I think we should respect that - but I would do anything to keep him."
Larsson:
"I've signed a contract with Helsingborgs and it's a contract I intend to honour.
"What you have to remember is the Swedish season is starting in the third week in April and that doesn't not give them much time to get a replacement striker.
"You can't forget that.
"I am very proud to have been part of this team but unfortunately I will be going home.'
"I've enjoyed it immensely. Coming here and playing with the quality players at Manchester United has been fantastic, especially at my age! I'm getting on a bit and I never expected to get the opportunity to come and play for this club, but I've really enjoyed it.
"In football, at 35 you're considered to be well past the sell-by date! I've been playing here with 20-year-olds and 21-year-olds. I'm an old footballer at 35. But I've enjoyed every minute of the experience."
Van der Sar:
"He's [Larsson] 35 and you can still see the quality of his runs, his passes, his layoffs.
"And of course there was his goal he scored today. I don't think he's scored too many goals but his influence has been great for us.
"They're all great teams at the moment.
"Of course it would be nice to go to my home country to play PSV but it doesn't really matter which team we're going to play."
Lille manager Claude Puel:
"There is absolutely no problem whatsoever [him with Ferguson].
"A lot of it has been orchestrated, but it's not a problem for me."
