"He has missed a few now and we needed him to score that one. It means we have to regroup on Sunday and hopefully get our form back against Charlton. We've got a good home record against them.
"We started slowly but in the second half we showed far more urgency and we should have won the game.
"They made it difficult for us but we get a lot of teams doing that and it is up to us to break them down."

"There was a fan voicing his displeasure.
"I'm passionate about the club and so was he. We had a disagreement, simple as that.
"On Sunday, when we score a goal, he will be jumping up and down and I will be giving my all again.
"Everyone is disappointed at the end of a game and sometimes tempers overflow.
"I don't regret anything I do. You can go through playing football and do everything by the book and show no passion.
"Sometimes you don't know you are doing it and react in a way. No one's hurt.
"He's entitled to his opinion. Obviously, he's seen a disappointing performance and we're disappointed ourselves. That's football.
"I'm sure United fans are going into the pub after the game arguing among themselves. That's the way it is when we draw a match at this football club."
McClaren:
"We worked hard for this result and I'm pleased with the performance of all my players, considering the schedule we have.
"Our performance against Everton with a very young team was excellent and we didn't get the result. It was excellent here and we got a decent result.
"The team is maturing. We are a young side but it is getting experience and we are growing in belief."
