Ferguson:
"It's not easy winning the league and Chelsea deserve to win it. They don't lose games at home. Their home record is sensational.
"It was harsh and I don't think 3-0 was a fair reflection of our performance.
"If you lose goals as softly as we did today you have to take your medicine for that.
"We had a lot of the play and made some good chances but we didn't make it count.
"Edwin van der Sar has not made a save and their keeper has made three excellent saves.
"We had opportunities and missed them and if you miss them you expect to be beaten."
Mourinho:
"The result perhaps does not reflect how well Manchester United played.
"They really made it tough for us and were fantastic with their attacking movement.
"But we overcame it to confirm our position as Premiership champions."
He then went on curiously:
"I feel in my country there are still a number of rats waiting for my mistakes.
"I think in terms of a manager being recognised for what he can do it [Chelsea] is the worst club.
"You can achieve, you can win but it's never enough.
"I have thought a couple of times 'close the door and say goodbye'. Not at that moment but at the end of the season. I'm very happy to stay. Roman [Abramovich], Eugene [Tenenbaum, a director], Peter Kenyon [the chief executive]. It is a pleasure to work for them.
"Chelsea is today always [seen] in a negative way and for professionals it is difficult. I'm happy to stay but the feeling is always a negative feeling.
"It is the fourth time in a row I've won a championship and I should be the happiest manager in the world. At this moment I'm not. It makes me sick because I want to be happy."
