Manchester United have made no secret of their pursuit of Barcelona?s Cesc Fabregas this season. However, following at least two bids in the region of ?25 and ?30million, they have been unable to convince the Spaniard to return to the Premier League. However, according to The BBC, Moyes may yet table a third bid for the talented midfielder, even though he is ?unable to talk about it?.
With the Wayne Rooney transfer saga in full flow, the United manager is under increasing pressure to make a stellar signing that will calm the fans and players alike. After failing to sign former player Leighton Baines for ?12million from former club Everton earlier this summer, The Daily Mail state that he could now move for his teammate Marouane Fellaini. Reportedly, Fellaini had a clause in his contract tht would allow him to leave for a club in the Champions League, should they table a bid of ?23million. However, it is now believed that any such clause has expired and United are looking to lower the fee.
Should Fellaini move to Manchester United this summer, it could go some way to appease the United faithful and ease Moyes? transition into the Red Devils hot seat.
