Speaking ahead of tonight’s match with Southampton, Arsene
Wenger still feels that his team are better than Manchester
United and that they have had a more successful season:
“Do you expect me to come in here on my knees? I wanted us
to retain the title and we were very close. But I still
think that our overall achievement, in reaching the FA Cup
final too, was as high, if not higher, than United's.
MANAGERIAL DELUSIONS PART TWO
“I'm ready to start next season now. I don't want a break. I
hate the breaks. They're not refreshing. I just want to win.
We are not far away from winning the European Cup. I'm
deeply disappointed. But should I be down, complaining and
feeling sorry for myself or should I be determined to learn
from what happened to us and come back stronger?”
