“If you look at the genuine front players in the Premiership, Louis is as good as anyone and I am very happy to have him here. There is no question he can handle the responsibility of leading our attack.

“He is an excellent footballer. He is quick, has two good feet and is good in the air. His goal ratio is terrific. I don't see any problems with him at all. The key is for him to keep himself fit.

"To miss the World Cup final like that was really bad luck because I am sure he could have made an impact in the game. But he has more or less got himself into the French team now, which is an indication of his maturity.
