LOSE AND MISS OUT

Fergie has reiterated the fact that United can probably no longer afford to lose games if they want to win the league this season.
"What Chelsea tell us, and Arsenal from the previous season, is that they averaged only half a defeat between them a season," said the United boss. "Arsenal had no defeats and Chelsea just one.
"So the game has changed and it looks as if we are starting the Premier League thinking that we can't afford to lose a game."
"The Chelsea game last season tells of the need for us to be up and flying from the first game of the season because we couldn't catch Chelsea after that," he said.
"In a lot of other seasons in the past, we would have caught them by Christmas and gone past them by the middle of March.
"But we couldn't do that last season and we cannot afford another slow start."
