Ferguson has insisted that Djemba-Djemba is going nowhere and specifically denied the Birmingham rumour:
'There is no truth in it,' said Ferguson. 'I don't know where that has come from. We have had a few inquiries about Eric over the last few weeks but we are not in a position to make a decision about that.'
Chris Eagles has joined Watford for the next three months, where he will link up with United old boy Danny Webber. "The boy's got great potential," Ray Lewington told the Watford's official website, "He's a Hertfordshire lad, so in a sense he's coming home. Sir Alex Ferguson has been very good in letting us have him for three months and I think he can help us."
Rumours that Kieran Richardson was Norwich-bound have been silenced for now but David Jones could be the next player to find temporary career enhancing employment.
'I have quite a few players loaned out and David Jones might join them depending on how things go over the next two or three days,' said Ferguson. 'But apart from that, I don't anticipate any more.'
