LOAN MOVE FOR FLETCH?

United midfielder Darren Fletcher is considering going out on loan in a bid to kick-start his career. He has started just once this term as opposed to the 17 league games that he started last season.

Wigan Athletic approached the 20-year-old last week but were knocked back by Sir Alex Ferguson.

Fletcher has also been linked with Leeds United but so far there have been no negotiations to move him to Elland Road.

"I realise the manager is looking to play a settled side right now," Fletcher said.
