Lyon playmaker Juninho would prefer three points from Saturday's French League clash with Auxerre to victory over United.
LEAGUE MUST TAKE PRIORITY
"This is a special occasion for the whole club and we genuinely want to win every match we play," said the Brazil international.
"But we have already achieved our original objective in the Champions League which was to qualify for the next phase. It would be nice to win the group as well but on an individual basis the result against Auxerre on Saturday is more important than this one."
"It is a great opportunity to prove how well we have being playing lately," said the 29-year-old,
"We produced our best football of the season in our first game, so it would be nice to reach that level again tonight and keep it going for the full 90 minutes. It won't be easy though because Manchester United are a great side and in Ruud van Nistelrooy they have one of the top three strikers in the world - as we have already found out to our cost."
