From The Sunday Telegraph:
As if the Football Association did not have enough embarrassing situations clogging up their in-tray, they face further censure over their failure to fix a date for the case against Manchester United's Paul Scholes on charges of violent conduct.
Scholes appeared to push Middlesbrough's Doriva in the face during the visitors' 3-2 win at Old Trafford on Feb 11, an incident missed by referee Paul Durkin but which he included in his official report after seeing a television replay.
The incident was studied by the FA video panel, with Scholes charged and given until March 5 to respond. He then asked for a personal hearing but, three weeks on, an FA spokesman admitted: "I don't know when the case will be heard."
