Tomasz Kuszczak has agreed a £4million move to Manchester United.
The West Brom keeper will bolster Alex Ferguson's Old Trafford squad.
Kuszczak, 24, was in Poland's World Cup set-up but did not play after a terrible blunder in a warm-up game cost him his place.
He let a hoof upfield by Colombia keeper Luis Martinez bounce over his head into the net.
But Fergie has ignored the gaffe to recruit Kuszczak, relegated with the Baggies last season, as an understudy to Edwin van der Sar.

The reports in the newspapers are pure speculation," a WBA spokesman said. "The situation hasn't really moved since the manager's comments last Friday."
Boss Bryan Robson had earlier made it clear that no offer had been made, saying: "Manchester United do have an interest but that's as far as it's gone. If they make us a big offer then we would have to balance it up."
