Massimo Taibi says David James’ howler was worse than the mistake that ended the Italian’s Manchester United career.

Taibi, now 34 and with Serie A Atalanta, said:

“The James mistake was pretty bad — it was probably worse than the one I let in for Manchester United. It was a silly shot. I kneeled down and somehow the ball went through me.”
