UEFA will make a decision today as to how long they ban Roy
Keane for his red card in Portugal. His ‘victim’ had this to
say prior to the verdict:
"Typically, people are trying to say it was my fault and
blaming me for getting him sent off. But it is Keane who has
no respect for the unwritten rules that a player jumps over
a keeper when he comes out. Had it been somebody else I
might have thought it was an accident but not from Keane.
"Personally, I would not like somebody who does this type of
thing as a team-mate."
Baia is not worried about coming to Old Trafford and
demonstrates an overconfidence that may prove to be Porto’s
undoing on Tuesday:
"Manchester United are a side which has great history and
tradition but in Porto they did not demonstrate that they
were superior. We are prepared for the battle of Old
Trafford, but we will not be scared by the atmosphere."
