This is what happens when you sell a books rights to a rival paper. The
Sunday Mirror claims Roy Keane's book has caused a rift in the dressing
room. In a similar way that Stam's book was supposed to have upset the
players.
KEANE CREATES A RIFT
A United insider apparently told the paper.
"This is a public and unprovoked attack on some of his own team-mates.
"His comments are extremely damaging and although he has been clever not
to name players, most of them know who he is referring to."
Unsurprisingly a United spokesman has denied any rift between the players.
Meanwhile an FA insider told the mirror about what action they could take:
"The only reason we haven't acted yet is because we have just seen the
serialisation and have yet to see the whole book.
"Unless there is some Mother Theresa stuff in it, he'll get charged with
bringing the game into disrepute."
Perhaps the fact that the mother of his children is called Theresa will get him
off the hook then!
