Juventus confident deal to sign Paul Pogba is done

Juventus are confident that they have agreed a deal to bring Paul Pogba back to the Allianz Stadium this summer, 90min understands.

Manchester United have confirmed that Pogba is set to leave Old Trafford at the end of June, having failed to agree terms on a new deal at the club. His departure brings an end to his second spell at the Red Devils, but also looks set to herald the start of a second spell at Juventus.

90min have been told that Juve are 'confident' that they now have a deal in place to bring the midfielder back to the club.

Pogba spent four remarkable seasons at La Vecchia Signora between 2012 and 2016, winning four consecutive Scudetti, two Coppa Italia, the 2013 Golden Boy award and even being named in the UEFA Team of the Year in 2015.

This week they discuss whether Sadio Mane will leave Liverpool for Bayern Munich, Manchester United's pursuit of Benfica striker Darwin Nunez, Newcastle's plans for Moussa Diaby and Sven Botman & Jorginho's future at Chelsea.

Juve then sold the France international back to Man Utd for a whopping £89m in August 2016. While I Bianconeri continued to dominate Italian football, Pogba largely struggled to replicate his form at Man Utd, dealing with numerous niggling injuries throughout his six seasons at Old Trafford.

Along with Pogba, 90min understand that Juventus are close to signing Angel Di Maria. The Argentine is also out of contract this summer, leaving PSG after seven hugely successful seasons in which he won a whopping 18 domestic trophies.

According to sources, a deal to bring Di Maria to the Allianz Stadium was prioritised after Juve target Ivan Perisic opted to join Tottenham Hotspur.
