JOAQUIN CHANGES HIS MIND

Bear in mind that a few weeks ago his father was reported to
be his agent and was quoted as saying that his son was happy
where he was and didn’t want a move to Manchester. This was
then backed up by Joaquin himself a few days ago. However
the press are now reporting that Gonzalo Arguiqano –
Joaquin’s agent – has opened the door for a transfer:

“No offers have been made to Betis that I am aware of. If
Manchester were to get in contact with the club, then
Joaquin would be open to listen to any offer made. However,
until that time, he is very happy to be at the club.
Manchester is a good team, and if they made an offer,
Joaquin would listen to it.

“No new contract has been signed with the club and they are
not in negotiations to renew his present deal. Joaquin has
not had any contact with Lopera in regards to a new deal.”
