"The problem for Manchester United is that the English Premiership season is very long.
"It lasts nine months and it's not easy to keep the players fit and playing at their best in big Champions League games in such a long season.
"Maybe United also need to strengthen their defence because at times they have leaked goals, especially away in Europe, so there are no guarantees they will win the Champions League."
