Article 1:
'A Mum hit in the face by a ball smashed into the crowd by Gary Neville will receive an apology from Manchester United.
Wolves fan Julie Perry was at Molineux when Neville drilled the ball into the crowd in the 80th-minute of United’s 3-0 FA Cup win.
She was hit in the face and had to leave the stands for treatment to bruising while Neville was booked for time-wasting. The Stafford mum, 46, who wrote to United to complain, said: "I turned to have a word with my son.
"The next thing I knew the ball banged full into the side of my face. He didn’t check that I was all right — he just turned his back."
A United spokesman said: "We have spoken with Julie and we are in correspondence with her."
Article 2:
He's done it before. Here’s the proof that Gary Neville has celebrated in front of Liverpool fans in the past.
And there wasn’t half the fuss then that there is now!
Seven years ago Liverpool looked set for a classic FA Cup win away to Manchester United thanks to a third- minute goal by Michael Owen.
That was until Dwight Yorke grabbed an 88th-minute equaliser and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer smacked the winner in time added on.
And guess what? With nearly all of United’s outfield players mobbing Solskjaer, Neville rushed towards the shattered visiting supporters.
Yesterday he denied an FA charge of improper conduct over his dash towards Liverpool fans after Rio Ferdinand’s late winner in the Premiership at Old Trafford on January 22.
Seven years ago no one at the FA took any notice. Perhaps Neville will use this in his defence.
