'There was no disruption,' said the veteran Welshman.
'The manager has chopped and changed this season already, whether that be due to injuries, or suspensions or whatever and we have coped with it, just as we coped with what happened in Kiev.
'It just proves the value of having a good squad.
'I think a few players are due to come back shortly and once that happens, we will start to look strong again.'
Rooney is confident too
"We've got a few injuries at the moment - a lot of key players missing - but we have a good squad and we know we're capable of winning this competition (Champs League)," he said.
"We play Kiev again in a couple of weeks - and if we win we'll be through (to the next round).
"I hope there's a lot more to come - because after a poor start to the season, we're doing really well."
