Here he is:
"I want everyone to know I'm fit. I've come on in four games - Manchester United, Chelsea, Birmingham and Manchester City - and I've done well.
"It's hard when I don't play because I train every day, but it's down to the manager.
"If he wants to put me in the team, he will. I'm a professional, but if I'm only here just to train every day, then I'm wasting my time.
"At the moment, I'm happy to train and fight for my place, but if not, then I will see the manager and discuss the situation.
"We've only played 12 games so it's too early. If that time comes, then I just want the manager to be honest with me and tell me I can leave.
"You don't know what's going to happen - someone might get injured and I may get my chance and stay in the team.
"But I came here because I expected to play - that's why I left Manchester United. I'm an honest man and I want people to be honest with me.
"If I can't play, I want to be told: 'Eric, you can't play here."
