INTERNATIONAL FOOTBALL IS STUPID

SAF is far from pleased with the International friendlies that will be played next week.

He said "It is stupid having friendly games at this time of year, absolutely crazy.

"We will have 15 players away while Arsenal will have about six. The really stupid fixture is Norway playing away in Greece which means we will not get Ole Solskjaer back until Thursday afternoon.

Meanwhile Arsene Wenger has had his say and of course he is all for the friendlies.

He snorted "Sven got a lot of stick the last time he tried to help the clubs out and I'm not sure he will do it again this time. He is in a position where he has to use his best players. So I expect him to use seven from Manchester United and two or three from Arsenal. That looks fair to me!

"Sven has a good understanding of the situation and knows we are at a stage of the season where he cannot give any clubs an advantage.

"The fact is that we have a huge FA Cup game at Old Trafford three days after the Australia game, but Sven cannot make allowances for that."

Just wait for Wenger to change his tune when it's time for the next France and Brazil play in some far away land.
