"The loss of Henrik after today is a big loss but we didn't have him at the start of the season and we coped very well. He has made fantastic contribution to the club and we appreciate that and respect his decision to go back.
"But the news now on Louis Saha is very good. We think he will be back for the Blackburn game at the end of March along with Ole Solskjaer. So things aren't as bad as we first thought."
More:
"For the last three or four months I have had to have players in five and six at a time and say to them you are not playing today.
"It kills you at times because you are talking about some fantastic players and you are feeling for them because they are not contributing to the particularly good spell of football we were in.
"But I have not had that problem for a couple of weeks which is nice. I get a break from it!"
And on Van der Sar:
"He has a calf injury and we will send him for a scan tomorrow - hopefully it is not serious."
