"I'm not afraid of the competition in the club.
"There are always new top players coming into this club and I enjoy the challenge.
"My knee is feeling good and I wouldn't have played in the reserves if I thought it would be a problem.
"I have had great help from the medical staff. But now it is up to me to prove I am good enough to take a spot in the first team.
"That is completely up to the manager, though. One of my strengths is that I have always been able to play wherever he has needed me and I'll just have to wait and see where that is.
"I am still lacking 15-20 per cent of my ability and I think I'll be playing more games in the reserves before I'm back in the first team.
"But my goal is clear, I want to play in the first team as soon as possible."
